Special categories of personal data are processed only where one of the conditions in Article 6 KVKK is met. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
5. Who we share your data with
We share personal data only for the purposes above and in line with Articles 8 and 9 KVKK:
- Public authorities: the units of the General Directorate of Security and the Gendarmerie for guest identity registration, the tax authorities, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, courts and other authorities—only where we are legally required to or upon a lawful request.
- Service providers: companies providing website hosting, maintenance and email services, our accountant, and banks for payments and refunds. They access data only as far as needed to provide their service.
- Booking platforms: for bookings made through Airbnb, the information needed to manage the booking is exchanged with Airbnb, which acts under its own privacy policy for that data.
Some of our service providers may store data on servers outside Turkey. We collect personal data partly by automated and partly by non-automated means: through the booking, contact and review forms on our website; through WhatsApp, email and phone; through booking platforms such as Airbnb; from the identity documents shown at check-in; and through cookies and server logs. Collection is based on the legal grounds described above.
7. How long we keep it
We keep personal data for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, for the retention periods required by law (in particular tax and identity-registration rules) and for the statutory limitation periods for possible claims. After that, data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised in accordance with the Turkish Regulation on the Deletion, Destruction or Anonymisation of Personal Data. Booking requests that do not lead to a stay, and general correspondence, are deleted after a reasonable period.
