Questions

Good to know

Short, honest answers. Where we don’t know something for certain, we say so—and you can always ask us directly.

Hespera Suits is three homes—Blue, Green and Red—in the large garden of the Ormancılar complex at Kadıkalesi. They share the same simple layout, so the answers below apply to all three unless we say otherwise.

Booking & payment

How do I book directly?

Pick a home and your dates on the booking page and send a request. İrfan checks availability himself and replies in writing, usually within the hour. A request is not binding until you receive his confirmation.

Is the price on the website final?

Prices shown on the website are indicative. The final amount, what it includes and how to pay are set out in your confirmation. For long stays, we agree the price together.

How do I pay?

Your confirmation states the deposit, the payment deadline and the method—for example a bank transfer. See our Booking & Cancellation Terms for the details.

What if I need to cancel?

Unless your confirmation says otherwise: free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival, a 50% refund between 14 and 7 days, and no refund within the last 7 days. Bookings made on Airbnb follow Airbnb’s own cancellation policy.

Can I book on Airbnb instead?

Of course. All three homes are listed: Blue, Green and Red. Booking direct simply means you talk to your host with no one in between, and longer stays are easier to shape.

Arrival & check-in

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 15:00. Check-out is at 11:00—ask us about a late check-out and we’ll do our best, depending on the next booking.

I arrive early. Can I drop my luggage?

Yes. Leave your bags in the shared laundry room and head straight for the sea.

We land late at night. Is that a problem?

Not at all—just tell us in advance. Send your expected arrival time on WhatsApp and we’ll plan the check-in around it.

Why do you ask for ID?

In Turkey, anyone providing accommodation is legally required to register guests’ identity details with the authorities. We therefore ask every guest for a valid ID card or passport. Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle your data.

The homes

What does each home have?

Each is a 50 m² one-bedroom apartment: bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom, a private terrace and its own entrance, set in a very large garden. The kitchen is equipped for long stays, and every home has Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace.

How many people can stay?

Blue sleeps up to 3, Green up to 4 and Red up to 3. Bed layouts are on each home’s page, or compare all three.

Is there air conditioning or heating?

We prefer to tell you exactly what each home offers for summer cooling and winter comfort rather than generalise here. Send us your dates and we’ll give you a straight answer.

How far is the beach?

The complex has its own private beach, which guests are welcome to use. The Kadıkalesi beaches are about a 500 m walk.

Can we pick fruit in the garden?

In season, yes. There are mulberry, quince, mandarin, pear, orange and pomegranate trees, plus a vegetable patch with tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers. Please pick only what you’ll eat—see the House Rules.

Pets & children

Can I bring my dog or cat?

Yes, pets are welcome. Let us know the kind and number when you book. In shared areas, please keep dogs on a lead and clean up after them.

Is it good for children?

Yes. The big garden, the quiet surroundings and the sea within walking distance make it easy with children. If you need a cot or a high chair, ask us before you arrive.

We’re a larger group. Can we book more than one home?

Yes. All three homes are in the same complex and share the same garden, so you can book two or three together—close to each other, with a front door each.

Long stays & winter

Are you open in winter?

Yes, all twelve months. From December to February, daytime highs are usually around 15 °C and the sea stays at about 16–18 °C. More on our Winter page.

Can I stay for a month or longer?

Yes. Monthly and longer stays are arranged directly with İrfan, around your dates and needs. Tell us how long and how many of you.

Is it set up for remote work?

Every home has Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace. If something like connection speed is critical for your work, ask us before you book and we’ll give you a clear answer.

Is it a good place to rest after medical treatment?

For anyone looking for a quiet, private home with its own entrance in a garden, it’s a calm place to rest. We don’t provide medical services, but we’re glad to help you plan your stay. See Wellness.

Getting around

How do I get here from the airport?

Bodrum–Milas Airport (BJV) is about 55 km away, roughly an hour by car. Take the Havaş or Muttaş shuttle to Bodrum bus station and a dolmuş from there, or book a taxi or transfer.

Do I need a car?

Not necessarily. The municipal dolmuş (minibus) stop is about 100 m away and connects to the whole peninsula. There are cycling and walking paths between Kadıkalesi and Turgutreis, too.

Is there parking?

Yes, free parking on the premises.

How far are Gümüşlük and Bodrum?

Gümüşlük and Turgutreis are each about 5–7 minutes by car. Bodrum town is about 22 km. Read more on our Gümüşlük and Bodrum pages.
